We cater for children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age, offering an excellent range of both indoor and outdoor play facilities which include an all weather safety surfaced play area, and a grassed play area.
We are open 51 weeks of the year from 7:30am to 6:00pm. We close on Bank holidays and also for one week at Christmas time.
All of our staff are qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in childcare, several staff have, or are working towards the Foundation Degree in childcare. We have a Senco trained worker in place who offers expert help and advice to any parent who has concerns about their child’s development or any special needs a child may have. We work closely with other professionals such as a speech therapists, health visitors, play therapists, etc.
We invite parents to the settling-in period with your child where you ‘stay and play’ and then gradually leave your little one for short play sessions on their own. This is all free of charge, we want you to feel happy and confident about leaving your child with us and we want your child to be happy and enjoy coming to our Nursery. We know they will have lots of fun and will enjoy the wide range of activities that are available to them.
We have a full time cook who provides us with delicious home cooked meals using all quality, fresh products. We have a breakfast, a 2 course lunch and an afternoon tea. Fruit and drinks are available throughout the day. We have a healthy eating award and are working towards a healthy lifestyle award, where not only dietary requirements are monitored but also the amount of physical exercise the children get involved in.
Our nursery is a happy place to be in, children are cared for and cherished, they enjoy being here. We have a fantastic relationship with our parents, we think of them as friends and work closely with them to ensure their wishes for their child are met while in our care.
